I'm never moving AGAIN!&#^!!

This one is quick & easy.
When you are moving, like "packing up boxes"-moving, like "a moving truck with burly (and probably reticent) movers is going to show up whether I'm ready or not" - moving. . .
WEAR AN APRON with LOTS of POCKETS.
Now, fill those POCKETS with the following:

SHARPIES & PENS - lots of them! And big thick ones, so you don't have to search too hard on the box at the other end of the move to really know what's in it & where it's going.
PACKING TAPE & maybe SCISSORS (depending on how good, or bad, you are with your teeth and/or how klutzy you are carrying a sharp object)
POST-ITs -- to stick on tables, the fridge, boxes, the walls with things like "To Goodwill", "Move to Garage", "Ask Bob?"
SMALL NOTEPAD or NOTEBOOK -- to jot quick notes & reminders to yourself because your mind is going to be racing with thoughts of ALL THE THINGS that have to get done.
CELL PHONE - 1) you are moving! People are going to be calling you; 2) you are moving! You'll be remembering a zillion calls to make & things to look up; 3) and it never hurts to carry around your music or podcasts with you from room to room.
Optional - You can collect small things in it that you don't want to just throw in the bottom of the box. Or you don't want to make an extra trip to the room where that small thing really belongs. (Laundry baskets are good for collecting bigger things around the house, too.)
Now, at your fingertips, you've got the things that:
you are going to be using constantly;
you are going to need at a moment's notice when a thought pops into your head;
you are going to absentmindedly lay down anywhere & everywhere.
And then be completely sidetracked because "I CAN"T FIND MY PEN!" But breathe . . . ahhh, . . . come on . . . deep breath . . . it's are right there, snug in the belly pocket of your cheesy, matronly apron. Or maybe it's the rugged, masculine, BBQ one that came with the gift basket from I-can't-remember-where. But hey, it's cooler (maybe?) than a fanny pack (I've heard they're experiencing a little renaissance). And someone might even think it's a good idea.

When time is limited, hiring moving labor near me really helps speed things up.
