Over the past 15 or so years, I've managed, owned, or started misc businesses & non-profits (often in partnership with my two amazing brothers.  For background,  learn more about us HERE.).  The flexibility & creativity that comes from building a small business can't be beat.  Every day brings a new problem to solve.  It's fun.  Invigorating.  Challenging.   . . . . Until something crosses your desk or enters your inbox that's not in your wheelhouse.  

 

Countless times, I'd be on the phone with a government agency or customer support department, trying to straighten something out, lamenting to myself, "Geez, I'm just a department of one.  How the heck am I going to find time to troubleshoot this completely-new-to-me-problem when I'm trying to run my business!?!  I don't even know where to start."  Not to mention, how much is this going to cost me, in time & actual dollars?

Over the years, just through the course of running businesses, I have built a repertoire of skills & knowledge.  I've also have the benefit of hindsight & the valuable lessons of mistakes or should haves.
